PADI DIVEMASTER TRAINING PROGRAM

The Crystal Dive PADI Divemaster Training Program is overseen by Matt with our two dedicated PADI Master Instructors, Stiofan McAilan & Carsten Neuhaus, who together are Head of Divemaster Training at the resort. The guys will sit down with you and tailor the program around your needs as well as present all knowledge and skill development modules. You will also be assigned one of Crystal's Instructors to be your "mentor" throughout.

During the course you will assist our Instructors on PADI Diver courses as well as our team of PADI Divemaster's with certified divers and the logistics of running a busy dive school and resort.

You will also be taken through 8 dive theory subjects including Physics and Physiology as well as plenty of skills circuits and Rescue assessments making sure your skills are to a standard expected from a confident PADI professional.

DIVEMASTER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM (D.I.P)

Once you are certified as a PADI Divemaster, you have the opportunity to complete our 14 day "Divemaster Internship Program". This unique program, the only one of its kind in Thailand, is overseen by our vey own Steve Hulme, Operations Manager at the resort.

The aim is to give candidates an in depth view of the workings of a busy 5 Star Dive Operation.

Working alongside our experienced team of Divemasters gaining "real" working experience in areas such as dive school logistics, equipment maintenance, dive guiding, conducting PADI Programs, boatmanship skills and customer relations.

We don’t charge for this program but only offer this opportunity to candidates that are serious about a career within the industry. This is also ideal preparation for joining Matt on the IDC (Instructor Development Course).
